What size vaccum hosing is needed?

I will be installing a Blitz EBC this weekend.

And do you "T" in the hoses to the standard vacuum lines or get rid of them altogether?

Cheers

For the boost gauge side of things there should be a Teflon hose and metal t-bar with the Blitz one...

You can T the vac source from the same line as your boost gauge, but better to let it have its own source. Find a vac hose at the back of the inlet mani, I can't even remember which one I used tbh! lol

Don't use the FPR or MAP sensor vac line though; it advises against that!

1) Vac Source - this is to the inlet manifold tap into one of the vac sources there like you would with a boost gauge.

2) goes to your actuator

3) goes to the turbo

Have you kept the stcok solenoid in place?

Gonna order some 4mm and 6mm hosing now assuming it will be the same for the Blitz EBC :)

You can see the stock solenoid right next to the HKS one mate in the pic, just to the right. I never had it connected up anyway, I didn't bother with hi/lo boost using the button.

I'd Google about, see if you can find a BLITZ installing manual. Might be slightly different, never fitted one! HKS FTW! :p

Right, you have 3 ports on the solenoid, for the HKS solenoid it is as follows: (PS. The ports aren't in numerical order, so look at it as the numbers are on it. You will see that 3 is the middle one, like my pic shows!)

Port 1 goes to a vacuum source on the inlet manifold.

Port 2 goes to the turbo, so one piece of vac hosing goes from this port to the port on the turbo like in the picture.

Port 3 goes to the wastegate actuator. If you have a HKS actuator there is only one place it can go:

Its best if you go out and have a look mate, you'll figure it out then! lol

Hope that helps!
