[video+photo+results] 2010 Monaf championship - Mauritius

Hello all,

It took me some time to start this topic.
So this year in mauritius, there are few events to come.
First one that started the season has been the "2010 Monaf slalom championship"
There are 4 categories.
Cat 1 : less than 99 hp
Cat 2 : from 100 to 125 hp
Cat 3 : from 126 to 225 hp
Cat 4 : over 226 hp

this championship will have a total of 5 events.
I will post result pics and video in this topic

1st EVENT

first event did happen at Anjalay stadium on the 21st of February

each car had do do 3 session of 2 laps.

Cat 2 winner michel lam in his 206 has even beaten all cars in cat 3


on my side, some of you might know I had some trouble with my left ALK bushing which went of. so I had an accident 2 days before the event. we fixed the car in one day to be at the event. 15 minuts before our session, we realized the bushing was going of again. so we fixed it with some straps !! and decided to go gently until we could go out of track to fix it properly. and then planned to do better time on next sessions. unfortunatly I broke my engine on first lap. we were so focused on this ALK bushing that we forgot to check engine oil. there were no more oil inside the engine.... result, crankshaf and forged rods gone. this hasn't been my best week as you can beleive...
we managed to finish 2nd of our group on first session... (then the car as been towed to the garage...)

Oh crap sorry to hear lio, seems like ur having a series of unfortunate events..

best of luck getting her back to full strength! will be good to see her back in the slalom championship!
